On-site Programme
Archaeologist Kate Macdonald and Grazings Clerk Donald Macdonald consider the options for site management at the eroding broch of Dun Vulan, South Uist.
The project will also feature the provision of signposting and on-site interpretation at a number of proposed key places.
It is intended that these will enhance the interpretation already developed by local organisations for visitors and residents at museums and through walks, leaflets, and some on-site information. The success of this project is dependent on the full involvement and input of local people, and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar are grateful to all the individuals and organisations who have given their time and advice.
