CnES have Service Level Agreements with 5 key cultural organisations:
An Lanntair in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis and Taigh Chearsabhagh in North Uist both run arts education programmes throughout the year. These include practical arts activities for adults and children and people who are disadvantaged by health or social issues. Lectures and talks are often part of their annual programmes. In partnership with Lews Castle College, Taigh Chearsabhagh run a BA in Fine Art and an open access NC in Art and Design. Details of forthcoming activities can be found on the Taigh Chearsabhagh and An Lanntair websites.
Arts and Cultural tutoring and classes are also an important part of the services provided by the Hebridean Celtic Festival, Ceòlas Summer Music School, Feisean nan Gaidheal and Theatre Hebrides.
The CnES Cultural Coordinator - Erica Morrison works with schools throughout the Outer Hebrides to provide a substantial education programme, linked to the Curriculum for Excellence, which is available to all schools. The Cultural Co-ordinator has a specific focus on Gaelic Cultural activities.
