What To Do If you Have Concerns About A Child

All children have the right to be kept safe from harm.

If you have concerns about a child please contact the Outer Hebrides Child Protection Social Work service . The Child Protection Social Workers are based in the St Lennan’s Centre, 22-24 Point St, Stornoway and the Lionacleit Education Centre, Benbecula. They are available during normal business hours of 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. The duty officer will be available to discuss concerns about the care and protection of any child in the local community.
Outwith these hours enquiries are handled by Faire, the Out of Hours service.
