National Entitlement Card - Cashless Catering
If you attend the Nicolson Institute, you will be able to load cash onto your card at local terminals in the school or by presenting a cheque to the school. The money is then stored on the cards epurse, a secure file on the card’s chip. You can then access school lunches using the card.
If you are entitled to a free school meal, your parent/guardian will need to give proof of entitlement to the school office. Once your entitlement is given, £1.90 is automatically loaded onto the card for each day’s free school meal. This value will be set up on the card hidden in the chip so the fact that you are in receipt of a free school meal is completely confidential.
