Community Education Service
Youth Work
Youth work provides opportunities for children and young people to achieve an extensive variety of skills and knowledge. Such work is designed to enhance the personal and social development of a young person. The role of Community Education staff is to provide educative, technical and administrative support to youth groups/forums/committees and youth leaders.

Kids Stuff - Summer 2009
If your kids are aged between 10 and 19 years old, there's a stack of free activities on offer that could appeal to them this summer.
From skate parks to football, acting to hip hop, there's a range of free stuff to get your kids off the sofa and out from under your feet these holidays.
Simply visit the Young Scot website to search for what's on in your area. It's all thanks to proceeds of crime money being granted to organisations by the Scottish Government's Cashback for Communities initiative.
