Choices For Life 2008
Primary Seven is a really important time in every young person’s school career. Soon they will be heading off to a secondary school and may find it very different to primary school. They are already making important choices every single day, but in the future these choices may become more difficult.
Faced with drugs, alcohol and cigarettes, at some point they may have to make some important choices.
Choices for Life is here to help make the right choices, encouraging young people to be an individual with a healthy lifestyle and to resist peer pressure.
Every school throughout the Western Isles has been invited to attend this event. Transport and accommodation have been paid for by the Alcohol and Drugs Action Team (ADAT) to include Barra & Uist Schools and arrangements for the event have been made by the Outer Hebrides Community Safety Partnership working together with Northern Constabulary.
The event will be held in the Lewis Sports Centre on Thursday 15th May at 11.00 to 13.00.
