How have we performed?
The Local Government Act 1992 requires local authorities to publish performance information for selected services each year.
Throughout the year we monitor our services and in September of each year we publish details about how they have performed. The performance information figures shown here are for the year 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009 and, where comparable, the performance indicator values for 1 April 2005 to 31 March 2008 are also shown. Where n/a is shown no figure is available because either the performance indicator is new or the figure from last year is not directly comparable. Where Failed to Return (FTR) is shown no figure has been reported.
The performance indicators have been grouped into the following indicator suites as laid out in the annual Statutory Performance Indicators Guide issued by Audit Scotland.
