The Outer Hebrides Welcome Refugees
Feel you want to help?
Should you wish to donate time, skills, goods or other practical help to refugees arriving in the Outer Hebrides, please let us know by filling out the form available via the link provided below.
Please include brief details of the support you can provide, for example:
- teaching English
- showing people around
Expressions of interest will be logged and we will get back in touch with you when we have confirmation of where and when refugees will be resettled in the Outer Hebrides. Please be assured that an expression of interest is not a commitment, and we thank you for your interest in helping out - even the smallest contribution can make a big difference.
(PVG checks (Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme) may be required for some forms of direct support - any costs will be met by us. For further information about the PVG scheme, please see the Disclosure Scotland website).
