Childminding
Childminders provide opportunities for care, education and play for children in the childminder’s own home. They are self employed and can often provide a flexible service. Childminders are regulated and inspected by the Care Commission. A list of the registered providers in the Western Isles is available from the Childcare Information Service , telephone 01851 822282. Please note, newly registered providers may not appear on the website yet.
