Western Isles Early Years Partnership
Background
The Western Isles Early Years Partnership consists of members from the public, private and voluntary sector who have an involvement in providing services for young children and their families. Partnership members work together to take forward the targets outlined in the Western Isles Early Years and Early Intervention Strategy (PDF, 2.5M).This Strategy recognises the need for agencies to work together to fulfil their statutory duties, deliver integrated services for all children, and to deliver preventative and targeted services for vulnerable children and their families.
Early Years Service Staff within Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar’s, Education and Children’s Services Department support the work of the Early Years Partnership. In addition to the main partnership which meets 4 times a year, there are also 4 working groups which meet on a regular basis.
