Consultation: Outer Hebrides Creative and Cultural Industries Strategy
The Comhairle and its partners, including Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Skills Development Scotland, are inviting comments on the draft Outer Hebrides Creative and Cultural Industries Strategy.
The creative and cultural industries are an important driver within the Outer Hebrides economy. This strategy aims to recognise the important contribution of the sector and to support the potential for growth, along with having an appreciation of the challenges facing creative and cultural businesses and organisations at this time.

All comments should be returned by Tuesday December 20th 2011.
An economic impact assessment of the sector is taking place from December 2011-February 2012. Following this, and a review of the responses to comments, the strategy will be finalised in April 2012.
