Business Profiles
Creative businesses grow and develop in the Outer Hebrides. Here are just a few examples…
Ardbuidhe Cottage Gallery/Willie Fulton
Ardbuidhe Gallery is located in a secluded bay in the village of Drinishader on the east side of Harris. The gallery space has been developed on the lower floor of a typical Hebridean croft house. It features the works of owners, Willie and Moira Fulton. A new build studio is adjacent to the gallery.
The gallery is open in the afternoon from April to October, and by appointment at other times. The gallery has proved extremely popular with visitors to the islands and the owners intend to further develop the attractiveness of the gallery as a destination. It has been awarded 3 stars in the Visit Scotland scheme.
Willie Fulton also exhibits widely on the mainland and abroad, and is represented in a number of prestigeous commercial galleries.
Ardbuidhe is among a developing trail of art galleries and studios across the Outer Hebrides.
