Introduction
ACfE is grass-roots development (unlike the top down approach of 5-14)
ACfE “aims to engage teachers in thinking from first principles about their educational aims and values and classroom practice” (Progress and Proposals P4)
This web-based approach therefore aims to provide a service where Western Isles teachers can share ideas/approaches/concerns/views relating to ACfE.
This web site is a pilot. If colleagues engage and find it useful, the functions may be expanded to include local resources, examples of best practice (local and national) public consultations etc. Let us have your views on its potential development.
