New Uist Office Completion

HHP’s Uist staff moved into our new purpose-built offices at Winfield Way in January 09. Since the date of transfer the Uist staff had been based in the Comhairle’s offices.

The new office provides a good working environment for the staff and also helps to raise HHP’s profile in the southern isles.

In terms of its design, it is an open plan layout with some individual offices. A sizeable meeting room is also incorporated. The building has been built with environmental considerations in mind.

The office delivers a broad range of services to tenants in Harris, Uist and Barra. These include waiting list management, allocations, rent collection, arrears control and delivery of the investment programme and routine repairs in conjunction with our Stornoway based colleagues.
