General Information
The Comhairle’s legal services section deals with licensing. Our main functions concerning licensing include:- the management and administration of the Licensing Board.
- the management and administration of Licensing under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982
Statement of Licensing Policy for the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005
Section 6 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 requires every Licensing Board to publish a Statement of Licensing Policy every three years. This Policy came into effect in November 2010 and will continue in effect until November 2013.
