Local People

A local management group, Friends of Loch Stiapabhat, cares for the Loch in partnership with Galson Estate Trust, Comunn Eachdraidh Nis , Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (CnES), Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).

The management group meets regularly throughout the year to co-ordinate implementation of the LNR Management Plan.

Galson Estate Trust employs a Countryside Ranger who would be happy to guide you on your visit to the LNR.
