Find My Nearest - Feature Descriptions
Feature Description
Address Search:

Enter a name, number, road or postcode of an address that you wish to locate. Click on the Search button search button , and then scroll down the page to see the results. Click on the required property from the list, and the map will then zoom to that property, highlighted with a red star. If you then wish to make another address search, you can click on the Clear button clear button to clear your previous search information.

Type in the parts of the address you know. It is possible to type in just the first few letters of a road name. For example typing ‘Cam’ into the ‘Road’ box, will produce a list of all the road names beginning with ‘Cam’. The road may be what you refer to as your street, village or locality.

Typing ‘14’ into the ‘Number’ box will produce a list of all the number ‘14’ properties on any road this will include properties with a suffix e.g. '14A, '14B'. Typing a letter in the ‘Number’ box will result in an error.

Please note, you need to type in your postcode with a space in the middle e.g. HS1 2BW rather than HS12BW.

If your search produces just one address – for example, you typed a house number and a postcode – move the cursor over the address and click once. A map will be drawn with the selected address at the centre.
However, if the search produces a number of addresses in a list, you can select an address by moving the cursor over the required result, and clicking once. A map will be drawn with the selected address at the centre.
