Ward Priority Fund

The Comhairle operates a Ward Priority Fund which allows elected members, in consultation with the other members in the ward and/ or community councils, to contribute towards community projects or events within their ward.  Ward Priority Fund is £5K per elected member – for 2012/13 this was increased on a one-off basis to £7K per elected member.  This means that £21K of ward priority funding is available in a three member ward and £28K in a four member ward for this financial year.

If you wish to apply for such funding you should Contact Your Councillor or Councillors. You should indicate when applying how support for your project will benefit the ward and its inhabitants.
