"The Royal National Mod is Scotland's premier Gaelic festival and is held annually in October at a different location in Scotland. The Mod is a competition-based festival which celebrates the Gaelic language and culture through solo singing, choral and instrumental music, poetry, art, story-telling and drama, attracting competitors and visitors from as far afield as Canada and Australia."

| A memorable voyage sailing from Oban
at 10am Monday the 15 th of October, stopping at Tobermory, then onward
to Barra for an evening Ceilidh in Castlebay.
Leaving Barra at 8 am on the morning of Tuesday the 16th to arrive in Stornoway in the late afternoon. Returning from Stornoway at 11 am on Saturday the 20th sailing straight
across the Minch to Skye passing under the Bridge at Kyle, to arrive
in Oban mid Saturday evening. |
