Pairc Primary School
Pairc School is a community school serving several small villages in a rural area of Southern Lewis. The school building opened in 1973. Our accommodation is good. We have an adjoining playing field and playground. School meals are cooked on the premises and served in the school hall which also doubles up for practical lessons such as Physical Education, Art & Design and Music. We have 27 pupils on roll.
The school is a shared headship with Sgoil nan Loch. The school has 2 full-time class teachers one in Mainstream P1-7 and one in Gaelic Medium P1- 7. We have itinerant teachers of Physical Education, Art & Design and Music and an instructor for Gaelic singing. We have a full time school/classroom assistant and an auxiliary for 20 hours per week.
