Design Guide Consultation
A Design Guide is being developed by the service to assist those planning to build a house through the design process – from selecting a site to guidance on how to achieve an appropriate house design for the Outer Hebrides.
Our Consultation Plans
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is consulting on the draft Guide to find out if it provides the right kind of advice in an easy to use format.
We will also be consulting further with other stakeholders involved in housing design such as kit-house manufacturers, architects, designers and the construction industry.
We need your views to ensure that the new Guide will work to help the people who use the planning service and for the wider community who are affected by new developments.
