The Waste Aware Western Isles mobile unit is all ready to go for a long summer of action and today, (Friday 20th May 2005), saw its first outing when it visited the Council Offices in Stornoway. The unit will be a regular visitor to events and shows throughout the Western Isles from June to September to promote the Reduce Reuse Recycle campaign message.
The mobile unit contains all kinds of information on recycling including a video on Recycling in the Western Isles and special interactive computer games for all ages. The Waste Aware Team will also be present offer help and support to anyone with Recycling enquiries.
