| Responding to an announcement today of the formation of Regional Transport Partnerships, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar’s Chairman of Transportation Cllr. Donald Manford, said:
'The Comhairle looks forward to working with the other Island Councils in this new organisation which has the potential to improve transport services for Island communities provided it is properly funded and resourced.
