As you may know, the Prime Minister of the Faroes and the Conveners of Orkney and Shetland Island Councils are visiting the Western Isles on the 8th and 9th September. For your information please find attached a copy of the itinerary. You or your representative are welcome to attend the meeting of the Council and the Community Planning Partnership tomorrow evening (First time a Prime Minister has attended a meeting of the Comhairle!) or to attend any of the scheduled visits on Friday (Arnish in particular might make a good photo/pictures.) If you do intend going to Arnish can you let Norma Hogan at WIE know so that she can make the necessary Health and Safety arrangments? She is on 703703.
