Email Scam
Trading Standards Officers at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar are warning consumers about a scam email purporting to be from HM Revenue and Customs.
The email states that consumers are eligible for a refund of £178.23.
Recipients are asked to fill in a form online. This is a reported phishing site and should not be responded to.
Revenue and Customs are aware of the scam and the message can be forwarded to them at
