Upcoming ‘Harris Tweed ®’ Workshop ‘Grow your business with the Harris Tweed brand’

As demand for Harris Tweed ®’ continues, a one day interactive workshop has been developed exclusively for businesses and individuals working with Harris Tweed ®’ fabric. This is funded by the European Social Fund, Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the Harris Tweed Industry.

This is an opportunity to learn about the famous ‘Harris Tweed ® brand and how it can help individuals grow their own brands and businesses.

The workshop will be an enjoyable and practical day that will give participants tools and techniques to help them understand, and benefit from, the Harris Tweed ®’ brand. There will be case studies from successful Scottish-based businesses and participants will learn how to use their brand as a strategic business tool.

We are holding workshops in Stornoway on Tuesday 25th March in Stornoway Town Hall from 10am until 4.30pm and again in Leverburgh Community Centre on Thursday 27th March from 12.30pm until 4pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and we can reimburse travel costs.

It is vital however it is used accurately and with care by those who work with the cloth both locally and globally. These workshops are designed to support local small businesses to properly use the story and magic of the Harris Tweed ®’ brand to help their sales and business growth'
