Over 35,000 pupils from 289 schools in Scotland participated in this year’s programme. Using a special poster template, young people are able to develop a personal plan of action inspired by the Commonwealth Values.

David, an S1 pupil at Sgoil Lionacleit, was among 220 finalists from 149 different schools in Scotland presented with their awards at The University of Glasgow by Scottish broadcaster and adventurer Mark Beaumont.

INSPIRE>ASPIRE:Global Citizens in the Making is a unique programme for schools and young people in each of the 70 Commonwealth Nations to help make the most of the teaching and learning opportunities from the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
