Cliasmol Pupil Picks Up Top Fringe Poster Prize

Kirsty Macleod, a 7 year old pupil at Cliasmol School, has won a Highly Commended prize for her age group in the 21st Edinburgh Fringe Poster Competition.

Kirsty's success is a considerable achievement as there were over 3,800 entries to the competition from 143 schools throughout Scotland.

Kirsty will receive her prize today at a ceremony to be held in the new section of the Royal Museum of Scotland in Chambers Street, Edinburgh, where the winning design will also be unveiled. The winning image will be used to promote the Festival Fringe all over the world on everything from posters to T-shirts, mugs to magnets.
