For a three month trial period, the Nicolson Lewis Sports Centre Pool will be open from 8am every Tuesday and Thursday.

In addition, the Fitness Suite at the Centre is open from 8am every Monday and Friday morning. Personal training advice is available to develop individual programmes suited to individual needs.

Commenting on the new early opening hours, Cllr. Alasdair Macrae, Chairman of the Arts and Leisure Committee, said:

"This is a very welcome enhancement in the service provided by the Leisure Centre. People now have an excellent opportunity to get the day off to a healthy start."
