An enthusiastic crowd of one gathered on the grass at the rear of the Council Buildings at 1300 today, to officially open the new Picnic Facility provided by the Council for its overworked staff.

All members of the crowd agreed that this was an excellent facility, and it was hoped that the Management would undertake some marketing to ensure that all members of staff were aware of the facility and of its benefits in reducing workplace stress.

One member of the crowd suggested that the area would be most suitable for an outdoor pool and poolside bar.
