Trading Standards Foresee Problems With Clairvoyant Lottery Offer

Trading Standards Officers at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar have issued a warning about a letter which offers the recipient 'a big win at the lottery' and 'a meeting with a person who will make your secret dream come true', all for the price of £9 plus £1 post and packaging.

The letters come from Carmen, who describes herself as an 'Angelic Clairvoyant'

A Trading Standards spokesperson said: "We are not clairvoyant but we can certainly predict that people will lose their money if they follow the advice in this letter. Our advice is not to send any money, do yourself a favour and chuck this letter in the bin".
