Algal Bloom At Loch Barabhat

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar are advising people to keep clear and keep animals and stock away from the water at Loch Barabhat on Bernera, where an algal bloom has developed.

The bloom may not be toxic but the advice has been given as a precaution.

Notices will be posted at the lochside and SEPA is taking samples.
