Closure of Sites at Loch Roag as Mussels Test Positive

Samples of mussels collected at two sites in Loch Roag have tested positive for shellfish toxins. Mussels from Loch Roag, Maivaig Bay tested positive for Amnesic Shellfish Poison whilst samples from Loch Roag, Drovinsh tested positive for Diarrhetic Shellfish poison.

All site owners have been notified and their sites are closed for the marketing of Mussels.
