Development of the Plant
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is building two new Waste Management Facilities. Work commenced in early July 05 on the new integrated facility based on the Creed Business Park on the outskirts of Stornoway. A further development in Uist at Market Stance will provide Waste Transfer facilities for the Uists and Barra.
