Real Nappy Week Barra
On 21 st June the Waste Aware Team spent the morning in the Childcare Centre in Castlebay Barra. The team had a colourful range of real nappies, liners and wipes on display and some dolls to model the nappies and to practice folding the terry towelling on. There was plenty of information and advice on hand on issues such as cost, health and the environmental impact of disposable and real nappies. Parents were able to take advantage of a special offer of a 10% discount on real nappies ordered on the day.
