Visits to the Plant
The Creed Integrated Waste Management Facility is now available for guided tours to adult groups.
Many groups have already been out to see the machinery in action and have all given
positive feedback about their visit.
Waste Aware will happily take bookings for group visits, which are also available in the evening, where you will be shown a power point presentation about the recycling processes, followed by a guided tour of the building to enable you to see what happens to all your waste.

It is hoped that schools in the Western Isles will soon be offered this same opportunity, where recycling activities will be included in order to make their visit more “hands on” and memorable. This will be advertised and all schools throughout the Western Isles will be notified of this as soon as it is available for them to visit.
