Slurry Tank Removal
On Thursday 25th September 2008, a major operation was undertaken to remove a large steel storage tank from the Creed Recycling Plant on the Lochs Rd. The tank was required to store slurry which was used to feed the digester in the first few months of the plant’s operation. The tank was successfully moved to the Arnish Fabrication Yard, with the help of a number of cranes, a very large lorry, and the local Police for ensuring the road was clear by utilising a temporary road closure.
