Bags at Tesco
Thursday 13th November
The Waste Aware Team recently purchased a number of small hessian shopper bags to promote the use of “re-useable” bags whilst doing your shopping at the supermarket. Lucky shoppers at Tesco got the chance to take home a free bag from Waste Aware on Thursday 13th November when the Team spent part of their day at the local store giving away 300 of the bags and reminding people to recycle over Christmas.
It is very important that you reduce the amount of plastic bags that you take home so please try and use the “bags for life”.
