Locals Participate in National Spring Clean 2010
Balallan School
Keep Scotland Beautiful encourages Schools and Community groups to take part in the National Spring Clean Campaign each year and 2010 proved to be more successful in the Western Isles with more schools and groups becoming involved than last year.
Once again Balallan Primary School made a huge effort to participate in the National Spring Clean Campaign by thoroughly clearing out their premises, school grounds and surrounding areas.

Lewis Independent Christian School also took part this year and had great fun clearing the rubbish from their area
