Some local schools throughout the Western Isles did a fantastic job to divert over 1 tonne of waste from Landfill by collecting in 1189 old Yellow Pages for Recycling.
Each participating school has been awarded with a Certificate of Achievement to acknowledge their recycling efforts.
A big thank you to all who recycled their old Yellow Pages whether it was by donating it to a local school, using your kerbside or organic bin at home or by using your local recycling bank – Thank You.
