Shawboat Secondary School Visit Creed Park – 08/06/11Shawbost School came to have a look round the plant after Iain and Christine visited their school in April. They were given a safety briefing first and a bird’s eye view look over the plant from the education room windows. The group then went down to the reception hall where all the organic and residual waste is dumped after collection. We saw a refuse lorry dumping a load while we were there. The process was explained to them and they found the visit educational and good to see how the plant works on a day to day basis.
