Nicolson Institute
S1 Geography Classes
Monday 15th – Friday 19th May
The Waste Aware Team were invited to visit the Nicolson Institute to educate the pupils in Secondary 1 about Recycling in the Western Isles as part of their Geography lesson.
All of the classes were interested in the fly through images of the new Creed Park Environmental Centre which is to be opened later this year. They are now looking forward to being one of the first groups to visit the Centre and take part in the “hands on” workshops that the Waste Aware Team will be introducing for the schools.
The pupils also enjoyed a Waste Aware Quiz which became competitive between all the teams. The results can be seen below.
