The Laxdale Cubs have been working towards their badges and asked the Waste Aware Team to come along to one of their meetings at the Laxdale Community Hall to help them gain their Environmental badge.

Sharon went along to see the group and talked about the 3 R’s and Organics. Each Cub now realises the importance of the new Organic bin collection and promised to ensure that the right types of waste will be going into the new bins they have at home! Sharon was also impressed that the Cubs had prepared some Recycling and Environmental drawings to show her when she got there.
