Stornoway Primary School Visit – P5

Class teacher, Mr Macritchie spoke to Sharon about his Primary 5 class receiving a visit from the Waste Aware Team as they are working on an environmental project this term. 

Sharon and Christine went along to see the pupils and were amazed at how much they knew about recycling and were glad to see that the majority were recycling at home with their green bins.  As well as talking about the 3R’s, they also spoke about the new organic bins that every house has been given and the children already knew how to use them as they have been helping their parents. Plenty questions were asked by the class before playing a very fun and active recycling game.
