The Waste Aware Team were invited along to the Scout Hall to visit the children at Stornoway Playgroup. They were pleased to see that most of the children have a green recycling bin at home and those who don’t, help their mums and dads take their cans and bottles to the blue recycling banks at the supermarkets.
After Sharon telling them what happens to all the rubbish they put in these bins, Christine read them a fun recycling story and everyone played with the recycling lorries.
The Playgroup told Sharon and Christine that they will be going on an outing to the recycling banks, which they are all excited about! |
