Sharon and Christine paid Barvas Primary School a second visit to refresh their memories on the importance of Reducing, Reusing and Recycling their waste.
The Team were pleased to see that the pupils remembered a lot about what they were taught before and have been recycling paper in their school since Waste Aware gave them their recycling bins in March 2006. Their new system has been working well and they have also been recycling their plastic bottles, glass and cans from home, in the local recycling bank.
A new organic bin has been added to the Sort It Game so the children enjoyed racing against the clock to be the quickest putting their flowers, paper and food into it, along with plastics, clothes and rubbish in the other 3 bins!
