Carinish School Visit to WTS – 22 June 2007

The Waste Aware Officer invited the school to visit the Waste Transfer Station at Market Stance to see what happens to all the waste produced in the Uists as the upper Primary had been involved in an environmental project and had implemented recycling and waste minimisation targets for the whole school.  This meant they had lots of questions for the Waste Aware Officer and Iain, Donald & Mark in the Transfer Hall.
