Miss Murray’s P 5 – 7 class were doing a project on the Environment and contacted the Waste Aware Team for some helpful tips on recycling in the Western Isles. The Gaelic medium class heard that Sharon was coming to the school to talk about the 3 R’s and asked if they could join in!
Both classes were very interested and quite a few of the children knew more than they thought about what happens to the recyclable materials in Lewis. They also had plenty questions for Sharon.
Although they already reuse and recycle in school and at home, the pupils at Sgoil ‘ Bhac are going to make even more effort so they can reduce the waste going to landfill in order to help the Environment!
