Wednesday 28th May
Sharon paid a visit to Tong School to refresh their thoughts on the importance of recycling their rubbish.
The pupils told her about all the different Environmental projects they do in their school, which included saving all their fruit peelings for their own compost heap; shredding their paper to use as animal bedding and holding a Bring and Buy sale to sell their old toys tom someone who could reuse them.
Sharon was also pleased to see the children have collected lots of milk bottle tops for recycling and they are having their own competition to see who can bring the most bottle tops into school.
Well done to Tong school for being very Eco friendly!
