School Council
Our School Council have been busy and are involved in many aspects of school life and its development. The Healthy tuck shop which runs every Wednesday at breaktime.
The Herald & Stornoway Gazette
Some of you may have seen the articles in The Herald & the Stornoway Gazette which spoke about some of our pupils entering a competition to design the strips for a football competition connected with the Olympics. We were the first school to enter the competition and eagerly await the results in February.
Parent Council Events
At our PC meeting this week we held discussions on a number of up-coming events. We are hoping to have a curry take-away service available towards the end of March and of course there is our Garden Party on Friday 11 May which celebrates the years of our Secondary department.
Gaelic Fun Day
You may or may not know of this event in the Sports Centre on Saturday 21 January. It is a free event and all are welcome. We shall be holding our own event fairly soon, probably the afternoon of 1 February to give information to parents regarding Gaelic Medium Education/Croileagan which will be available in Sgoil nan Loch from next August. Further information will follow.
